Back Yard BBQ Instructions

Prep 30 min

Cook 2 hours

Total 2 hours 30 min

Mustard BBQ Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 Cup beef broth

  • 1 Cup prepared yellow mustard

  • 1/3 Cup white vinegar

  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 Cup Razzle Dazzle

  • 3 Tablespoons butter

  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup

  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

Mustard BBQ Sauce Directions
  1. In a sauce pan, add all ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes.

  2. Serve warm and/or use a glaze on the chicken.

Chicken Drumsticks Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Chicken Drum Sticks

Marinade

  • 1/3 Cup Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/3 Cup Gluten Free Soy sauce

  • 1 TBSP White Vinegar

Chicken Drumsticks Instructions
  1. Whisk all marinade ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Separate chicken legs into 2 bags. Pour half the marinade into each bag and let marinade at least two hours or overnight.

Marinated Corn Ingredients
  • 4 ears corn on the cob (busted in half)

  • 3 Tablespoons Elote Seasoning

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 2 Tablespoons Maggi Jugo sauce (don’t tell my dad)

Marinated Corn Instructions
  1. Bust corn in half and place in zip bag.

  2. Marinate with remaining ingredients at least 2 hours or overnight.

Directions
  1. Prepare grill for "2 Zone" cooking at 275 degrees (water pan on one side of charcoal grill for indirect smoking and charcoal on the other side to crisp). You can do this on a gas grill, just turn on 1 burner on one side and cook the chicken on the opposite.

  2. Place chicken on the cool zone and smoke until 185 internal temp - about 1-1.5 hours. This will ensure the chicken is tender. Place over direct heat and begin glazing with mustard bbq sauce so that you get little charred bits.

  3. Move to the cool zone.

  4. Grill corn cobs until charred.

  5. Serve with more mustard bbq sauce and your favorite beverage

Note: The mustard bbq sauce is also amazing on salmon, chicken wings and pork.
